Missions

The focus of the Missions Department is very much aligned to the Vision Statement of GBC,
which is ‘A Family of God Impacting Communities & Nations for the Glory of God.’

Yes! GBC is certainly a missional church, reaching out cross-culturally to various ethnicities (peoples or nations)
with the Gospel of the Kingdom of God as commissioned by our Lord in Matthew 28:18-20.

Within Malaysia, GBC is involved in or has partnerships with the Orang Asli around Tasek Temenggor, the natives of East Malaysia and also the Migrant Workers’ ministries to the Nepali, Myanmarese and the Vietnamese.

Outside Malaysia, GBC actively supports our mission partners in Nepal, India, Kalimantan, Makassar and China.

Besides being regularly involved in the local mission ministries, GBC yearly sends out mission teams to East Malaysia and our overseas partners.

The purposes of such mission trips are not only to encourage our partners in the various fields but also for our own GBC trippers to develop more mission awareness and to deepen their own spirituality.
