We are a vibrant, balanced and healthy family church on an island on the top left corner of peninsula Malaysia, called Penang, which is otherwise
known as the Pearl of the Orient and the most famous tourist destination in Malaysia with food to tantalize your taste buds.

If you dare to believe, Georgetown Baptist Church is something like that too!

As a church, our passion is to make Jesus famous in our city as we make ourselves available to impact our city, and the world. We have multiple
congregations in English, Mandarin and Hokkien, with the main centre in the city of Georgetown, and a satellite church located at the south of
the island , called Georgetown South. We also run different kinds of ministries for the people in our community.

Georgetown has been on an exciting journey since its inception in 1956, having planted most of the English-speaking Baptist churches in
the state of Penang. Right now we are embarking on an expansion of our church facility to accommodate our growth.
